being back home

Finally after several hours of restless flights, I am finally back to a place I call home =) In the past month, I was blessed to travel to several places with my family. As fun as it was, I am actually glad that is all over now. Nothing beats the feeling of being home and enjoy all the good food that home got to offer ;)

It had almost been a week since I reach KL. I haven got the chance to do much yet, just visiting my grandparents and helping out at home. I figured I needed some time to settle down before going out to meet people again. Not that I am being anti-social here, maybe age is catching up, I just felt like I need to slow things down a bit and give myself a break this time. A time to rebuild my relationship with God, some time with my beloved fat (really fat) dog, time to pick up readings again, maybe some time to blog and most of all time to rest. Seriously, all the travels are good but it is also physically draining as well. Not to mention, the day after we landed in NZ is my graduation. With the excitement, tiredness from the 12 hours flight from US (and also jet lag) and also the fact that some of my good girlies are going away for good, I feel like I am going to explode soon @.@ I am going to miss you Steph!!! T.T

Any way, I am picking up this book entitled "Wild at Heart & Captivating" again. I can't remember if I finished reading it before, but I am starting it all over again. It definitely helps me in finding myself in God again, finding the purpose He had plan for me, finding what is it like to be "Woman" He design me to be =)

Shaka Shaka

hey peeps! Guess where am I now? HAWAII! hehe. Came here for a short family holiday. We will be here for the next 3 days before taking off to Los Angeles. Seriously, the beaches here are really B.E.A.UTIFUL... Is breath taking @.@ Now I know why so many people choose to come to Hawaii. Apart from that, the food here are real evils. Cause is so yummy and comes in a bigger portion than Dunedin! xD I think I already gain few kgs by now. lol. Now I need to think of a way to fit into my graduation dress. D.I.E. Any way, here are some pictures of it.

Grateful heart

I wanna dedicate this post to my almighty Father in heaven. My prayers had been answered.

Despite all the efforts that I had put in, none of them had even make it close to what I been yearning for all these while. But He had made it happened, by just a simple phone call. He had soften the hearts of those who had let me through. I give you thanks Father.

3 more days

3 more days till the end of my examinations. Here I am in burns trying to squeeze in as much as I can into this tiny brains of mine, while most of my friends is out there enjoying their year end holidays. Man, this is torturing =(

The only thing that is keeping me sane here, are the activities that I planned to do after all my exams. So here's a quick list of it:

1) *** SPECIAL- GIRLS' WEEKEND GET AWAY *** with Sheena, Steph and Becky. I can't say that I am not looking forward to this, but at the same time, I don't really want it to come so soon. Because it means that the days that I could see both Sheena and Steph will be much lesser =(

2) conduct Experiment "X" with Judith. Not gonna tell you guys what the experiments is about yet. hehe, but will definitely post it up once is done. I assure you that is going to be interesting one ;)

3) 3rd anniversary with Eugene. Yeah, it have been nearly 3 years now, really looking forward to this. Eugene and I planned to up to the Fleur's place at Moeraki Boulders for dinner ;)

Desperate need for suggestion on what to get for this special day.. suggestion any one?

4) Family Holiday in LA. muahahaha!!!

5) GRADUATION! YESH!!! Finally! xD I will be graduating on the 15th December, so do drop by if you can! We can do some cam-whore-ing together ;)

6) Home in Malaysia

I never knew how fun tramping could be, until I went to Abel Tasman with E. I know some people might be turned off by the idea that you will be disconnect from the world for a few days, and the fact that you can not have a proper place to sleep in, fighting with the sand fly all day long, showering without a proper shelter.. etc. But trust me, as bad as it sounds, it is also fun and relaxing at the same time. To me, getting myself surrounded in the nature, is like giving myself a break from all the stress in every day life. Not to mention those harmful wavelengths around us too...

Me and E went for the walk a few years back, can't remember how long... maybe 2008? Now that the summer is here, I really wish that I could go on for another great walk. Any one keen? hehe.

time for updates! =D hello hello!!!

Just in case some are wondering where have I been, or FYI, I been kept away by all the facebook games and HK drama. Hence, there aren't much post lately. hehe. But yeah, time to get myself straighten up. Exam is just around the corner and now I am tied down with the last assignment for the semester, then is holiday time! xD

Apart from all those games and drama I mentioned above, my week been hell of a drama too. Well, I don't intend to bored you with all my troubles, so I am not gonna talk much bout it. Just know that I was pretty up sad and disappointed over the incident. However, I did manage to learn something out of it. It make me realized how gracious our heavenly Farther is, to sinners like us. Even though, we had sin against Him and did horrible things that had up sad Him; yet, He had sacrifice His beloved Son, Lord Jesus, to die for sinners like us. So that whoever believes in Him, will not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)

Honestly, I find it really difficult and I am not gonna deny it. However, it is exactly because He had first forgive me that I told myself that I should do the same to others. Is hard, but I know I can do it, ONLY with God's grace. So yes, prayers and more prayers, only that I can find the peace to deal with all those problems. Seriously, without prayers, I do not know how am I going to make it through. So thank God, thank you for seeing me through all this difficult time.

Ok ok, now the happier stuff =) Lifegroup was great this afternoon, I got lots of support and prayed for too. Thank you girls, for listening and taking good care of me. LOVE YOU ALL LOTS! and oh, we had a good time of fellowship while serving at church just now. hehe. Here are some pictures...

Secret plan: Surprise visit to Roxburgh

As most of you who already knew, E was working at Roxburgh for a little while. So I decided to pay him a little visit. I've told some people, so I suppose it not exactly that secret xD

but yeah, I am glad to drop by there for a wee while =) It was my first time driving up to Roxburgh, so it was quite a little adventure for myself. With a full page long of notes on the major turns and junctions I might come across with, I prayed hard that for God's blessing me on the road and not get lost. Imagine how embarrassing would it be to call E, and tell him that I got lost while trying to give him a surprise xD Well, thankfully it did not

I took this picture in Lake Tekapo. Yup, went to Lake Tekapo for 2 days over the mid semester break. It was a good break and it was high time for me to get away from Dunedin for a little while =) We drove pass Twizel again and had that awesome QQ salmon sashimi, which is what I am missing now... Oh well, more pictures from this trip on my facebook, if you guys are interested ;)

Apart from that, I had a really crazy Saturday too. Woke up early to do some landscaping with the my OCF friends. I thought that is was just going to be some basic gardening job and seeing that it pays pretty well, I offer myself to it. Unfortunately, it was more of a hard labour. I was asked to wash the floor, carry the bricks/ woods around, clear the tools, move the flower pots (which weight more than 5kg each), loosen the soil (which took me and C almost 2 hour to finish)... As tiring as it sounds, it was pretty fun at the same time too ;) As soon as I am done with it, I had to rush to meet E's mom and sis. They went for a road trip to Te Anau and Queenstown. But they are dropping by Dunedin for lunch before heading up to Christchurch again later that afternoon. So, I have got only 1/2 hour to rush home, shower, and ran off to meet them at St Clair. GG. Fortunately, I made it and manage to send them off later after a short catch up with them =D Later that night, I went out with S, C, A and D. It was an epic night and we stay up till late, but we still manage to go out for a pretty early breakfast the next day. lol, with a sore body and sleepless night, I was pretty amazed by how I can pull it off with all these activities.

So yeah, this is my mid sem break; started it with a road trip in Tekapo and ended it with an eventful day in Dunedin with a bunch of awesome friends =D

Friday the 13th

I bang my head on the door, last Friday, while I was trying to enter my flat. Don't ask me how, I guess I was just very absent minded at that moment of time. After that bang (which my brother later told me that, he thought I slammed the door. but actually it was my head which got slammed), I bow my head and held it tight with my hands, but then I soon realized that blood already started bleed. Yeah, I got a cut on my eye brow too, and yes, it hurts a lot (T.T) However, I managed to stop the bleed and even went on to the King's Ball 4 hours later =D

So, what's your story for the Friday the 13th?

you manage to roll out of bed (after a long night) to go church

Learnt a great deal about God and His unconditional love for us again

you have lunch with a group of awesome friends

followed by shopping and a slack lazy Sunday afternoon tea with them

you cleaned the house

kitchen and the toilet look spotless

you had a wonderful dinner with your family

and of course, most of all, you enjoyed every single bit of it =D

I do have emotions

just because I don't show it
