What they say about Bali's sunset

"There is only one word to describe the sunsets in Bali: spectacular. In winter solstice in December, when the sun is close to its lowest point, a large, bright orange, red sun will approach the horizon of Kuta, descending ever so slowly. Brilliant shadows are cast everywhere, golden reflection on the water, and strips of clouds march as if to curtain another day. One light strip of cloud will probably march straight into the view, stealing the completeness of the sun, as if to accessorize it with a flowing silk scFont sizearf. Millions pairs of eyes are fixated, as the sun's bottom touches the horizon, and, in a matter of minutes, vanishes from the sight, as if it was never there.

Or, in Tanah Lot. A several hundred years old temple stands erect, solemnly guarding the land from the wilderness of the sea. Yet, as the sun begins its journey to its nightly resting place, the brilliance of an orange, red sun softly falls onto the side of the temple, raising its mystique even more. As waves break into the natural stone foundation of the temple, teasing the hundreds of little snakes in the cave in front of the temple, the sun marches down slowly. The millions of people it fascinates do not disturb it, for its ritual must flow. As it draws near the horizon, a magnified shadow of the temple is cast upon your eyes, as if to whisper good night. And in a couple of minutes, the sun rests, leaving traces of the day that has just passed "

IF...

If I get to choose between having a luxury pay but not one person that I could trust around me and a slight austerity salary but with many friends that I could trust with...

I rather choose my friends

Air Kelapa aka. Coconut Drink

We stop by a road side stall for a coconut drink this afternoon. It has been so long since I had a taste of it. Although I am not a big fan of it, but this thirst cruncher really taste yum when you needed it the most =)

I need to study. No seriously I need to. I am not being kiasu here and I know is my holiday now too! But some of you might not know that I actually missed 2 of my exam the last semester, and is all because of migraine. Yeah I've got a history of migraine since I was a teen. But never once it attack me during the mid of my examination... Oh well, what is done is done. I did manage to ask for a special exam and the department did grand me one. Thank God! It will be held once I got back to NZ.

So yesh, I do have to study...

being back home

Finally after several hours of restless flights, I am finally back to a place I call home =) In the past month, I was blessed to travel to several places with my family. As fun as it was, I am actually glad that is all over now. Nothing beats the feeling of being home and enjoy all the good food that home got to offer ;)

It had almost been a week since I reach KL. I haven got the chance to do much yet, just visiting my grandparents and helping out at home. I figured I needed some time to settle down before going out to meet people again. Not that I am being anti-social here, maybe age is catching up, I just felt like I need to slow things down a bit and give myself a break this time. A time to rebuild my relationship with God, some time with my beloved fat (really fat) dog, time to pick up readings again, maybe some time to blog and most of all time to rest. Seriously, all the travels are good but it is also physically draining as well. Not to mention, the day after we landed in NZ is my graduation. With the excitement, tiredness from the 12 hours flight from US (and also jet lag) and also the fact that some of my good girlies are going away for good, I feel like I am going to explode soon @.@ I am going to miss you Steph!!! T.T

Any way, I am picking up this book entitled "Wild at Heart & Captivating" again. I can't remember if I finished reading it before, but I am starting it all over again. It definitely helps me in finding myself in God again, finding the purpose He had plan for me, finding what is it like to be "Woman" He design me to be =)

Seriously, the beaches here are really B.E.A.UTIFUL... Is breath taking @.@ Now I know why so many people choose to come to Hawaii. Apart from that, the food here are real evils. Cause is so yummy and comes in a bigger portion than Dunedin! xD I think I already gain few kgs by now. lol. Now I need to think of a way to fit into my graduation dress. D.I.E. Any way, here are some pictures of it.
