Family Holiday: part 1

Date: 29th November
Location: Malaysia/ Taiwan

Taiwan is my heaven of shopping =D The last time I came with my mom, I went back with a bag of clothes that could filled up another new wardrobe! hehe.

Our flight landed Taiwan at about 6:30pm. The flight was pretty relaxing as compare to my trip back from NZ, it only took us about 4 hours. We then took a bus to Taipei Main Station, which took another hour to reach the city center. Right opposite the hotel that we were staying, there is this stall that sells smelly tofu. I was really intoxicated by the smell of those tofu, I love smelly tofu! As soon as we left our luggage in the rooms, quickly, we head over to have our dinner there.. Oh man, it was awesome!!!

Since mom and dad were feeling pretty tired after dinner, we just call it a night.

1st time tried the mee sua in Taiwan, it tasted real good! =D

Date: 30th November
Location: Taiwan

Nothing much was done today. Dad and bro went over to Gao Xiong to check out some machines, while me and Max followed mom to the office in the morning. We then head over to Underground mall to shop ;) Spent quite a bit there. hehe

Date: 1st December
Location: Taiwan

The next day, while mom and dad went out to settle some stuff in the office, we head out for some shopping and sight seeing ourselves. We had a really filling breakfast at a near by restaurant and head out for more shopping =)

This time, we went over to Si Men Ding. One of the hot spot for shopping in Taipei. Honestly, I find the merchandise over there a bit more expensive than other places. Though the quality and the fashion style is a bit more stylish. Plus, since we went over to early in the morning, most of the shops were not opened yet. Kinda bored and the crowd was small too.

We also visited one of the oldest building around that area, known as The Red House Theater.
We then walked over to CKS memorial hall.At about 2ish, we head back to Si Men Ding again. This time, by MRT. Is too TIRING to walk again >.<

At night, we went over to Shi Lin night market for another walk. Food there was awesome too! I fall in love with their coffin bread! lol, they did not serve it with a coffin, just the name ;)Then, more shopping after that =D

God forgets our sins...

This article had reminded me again how important it is to confess to God and that he really keeps no track of wrong too.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
1 Corinthians 13:4-5

***copied from Spiritual Food***

" Hebrews 10:8-13 - First, Christ said, “You did not want animal sacrifices or sin offerings or burnt offerings or other offerings for sin, nor were you pleased with them” (though they are required by the law of Moses). Then he said, “Look, I have come to do your will.” He cancels the first covenant in order to put the second into effect. For God’s will was for us to be made holy by the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ, once for all time.

Under the old covenant, the priest stands and ministers before the altar day after day, offering the same sacrifices again and again, which can never take away sins. But our High Priest offered himself to God as a single sacrifice for sins, good for all time. Then he sat down in the place of honor at God’s right hand. There he waits until his enemies are humbled and made a footstool under his feet. "

When we confess a sin to Christ, we don't have to think of it again. Christ has forgiven our sins and the sin no longer exists. God's new way for us to live is to come to Him in faith to be forgiven, then follow Him in love an obedience.

Don't let anyone tell you that you need to do anything more to be acceptable to God, if you have accepted what Christ has done on the cross for you. By believing in Christ, we are made completely right with God. By following Him in obedience, it shows that we love Him very much.

Considering the immeasurable gift that Christ has given us, we should respond by giving Him our devotion and service.

This Is The Word Of God.

Sheena's camera is fixed!

PHEW!!!! was worried sick that I need to get Sheena a new camera. What happened was that I borrowed her camera to take some pictures with a friend. I asked Andrew to take the picture for us, and unfortunately it slipped put of his hand and it dropped hard on the floor. The impact was so great that the lenses was tilted and it won't shrink back to the camera itself. T.T We tried really hard to make it work, but we failed. Sheena was not particularly happy with it, plus she just bought it recently >.<

Hence, I went back to Bond& Bond, where Sheena bought the camera. The salesman told us that it will cost us about $55 just to check what's wrong with it *gaps*But wait, there is more! If the lenses is broken, it will cos about $250 to change it *faints* Is as good as buying her a new camera. Art then suggest that we head over to another camera shop down the road to have them look at it. Thank God, Art is there. If not I would have spent so much more than I needed to.

The other shopkeepers told us that they can have a look at it for free! *squeaks* And if needed, they do suggest us to buy a new camera, cause changing the lenses is not worth the price. They are so much more friendlier =) and my hopes are not shattered by them. However, the repairman will only comes in on Monday, so we had to wait till then.

THANK GOD that it is fixed now =) Wee!!!!
